La Maison

Limerence began with a bundle of letters found in a San Francisco antique shop — a correspondence between two lovers spanning nearly twenty years, faintly scented still with rose and ink.
Our founders, perfumers Élodie Marchand and Julien Arceneaux, spent a winter reading them. They were struck by how each letter seemed to belong to a distinct emotional season: the electric first encounter, the ache of distance, the quiet hope, the final surrender.
The collection that followed is our attempt to bottle those seasons. Each fragrance is anchored to a precise moment and place in the city we call home, composed from the finest naturals in the world, and finished by hand in our atelier in Jackson Square.
