The Story
Outside, the winter fog. Inside the great white glass conservatory, two figures walk slowly between fig trees, speaking of everything except what matters.
Crushed fig leaf and galbanum, the humid green of a hothouse, settled on smooth vetiver and a milky fig wood. Tender, patient, hopeful.
